NFT Self-Experiment: The artwork

Guido Kucsko is a conceptual artist. This art movement, which emerged in the 1960s, places the artist's mere idea at the centre of the work. Sol LeWitt went so far as to proclaim that the idea as such is already the work of art and therefore would not even require any execution. For our NFT self-experiment, Guido has created a sequence of seven individual images that run as an animated GIF like a miniature film. The title of the work "CONCEPTUAL ARTIST PULLING AN IDEA OUT OF HIS HEAD" is exemplary of conceptual art: the artist whose task is to constantly create new ideas and pull them out of his head so that they become part of the perceptible world.

Incidentally, this is a copyright-symbolic act, because we assume that copyright protection only arises with the creation of the work. As long as it exists only in the artist's head, there is no copyright protection. Copyright protection, however, would not even be necessary. Only when the idea, the work, is expressed in some form does copyright protection automatically arise for this intangible good.
