Junior Associate – Real Estate and/or Regulatory

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate to join our team, with a focus on Real Estate and/or Regulatory matters (including energy, telecommunications and other regulated industries). This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a wide range of transactions, legal proceedings and advisory work, while working closely with senior attorneys.

Key responsibilities:

  • Providing expert legal advice and representation in various legal matters, including corporate law, M&A transactions, real estate law and regulated industries, with a particular emphasis on energy law
  • Drafting and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, legal opinions, lease agreements, regulatory filings and submissions to courts and authorities
  • Assisting in the preparation, negotiation and execution of transactions, including due diligence and legal risk assessments
  • Supporting clients in compliance with regulatory requirements, including communication with administrative authorities and regulatory bodies
  • Participating in negotiations, hearings and client meetings
  • Representing clients before courts, administrative bodies, business organisations and private individuals (under supervision)
  • Conducting legal research (legislation, draft regulations, case law and professional literature) to support ongoing matters
  • Supporting the work of senior attorneys and providing continuous updates on case progress and relevant developments
  • Taking part in the firm's knowledge development (templates, know-how, professional articles) and professional training, where capacity allows

Requirements:

  • Law degree
  • 0-3 years working experience
  • Interest in real estate law and/or regulated industries, with a particular emphasis on energy law
  • Natural team player who values a friendly, down-to-earth workplace and communicates openly
  • Excellent legal drafting and analytical skills
  • Proactive, precise and reliable work ethic
  • Strong communication skills in English and Hungarian (both written and spoken)
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
