Meet our Human Resources Director
Sabine Binder-Krieglstein
Sabine joined Schoenherr in 2022. She heads the
Human Resources Department and is
responsible
for the firm's HR strategy and operations. Together
with her team, she
manages not only the whole
employee life cycle, from recruiting to onboarding,
continuous
development, and a lot of
communication, but also shapes the firm's
corporate culture,
hosts internal events, cares for
Schoenherr's employer brand and much more.
Who are you and what does your typical
working week look like?
Hi, I'm Sabine.
As HR Director my week starts with our team's
kick-off meeting on
Monday, where we plan our
week. After that, my week is a mix of everything HR
related:
interviews, events like job fairs, trainings for
the continuous growth of our Schoenherr people
and anything else that comes up in an employee's
life cycle.
What do you like most about your job?
I get to work with so many different personalities
be part of such unique paths. Every day is
different,
and our department can shape our people's quality
of work life
significantly. It's amazing to get to be a
part of so many of my colleagues' stories.
What was your highlight at Schoenherr so far?
Celebrating my first anniversary with my team and
looking back at the successful projects we
managed
was a rewarding moment. I also really enjoyed our
People & Culture Summit,
getting so many
colleagues from CEE together and taking a full day
for personal growth,
talking to people from various
offices and being inspired by one another and our
speakers.
What advice would you give the younger
Sabine today?
Jumping into cold water doesn't feel warmer
when you jump later. Just go for it!
