Maximilian Lang (31), attorney-at-law at the Central and Eastern European law firm Schoenherr, has been promoted to counsel as of 1 February 2017. Maximilian Lang has an excellent record advising international and domestic clients in private and public m&a transactions, both mid-market and high-end. He recently advised Japanese Kansai Paint Co Ltd., Osaka (Japan) on the acquisition of Helios Coatings Group as part of the core le-gal advisory team; Private Equity House EQT on the sale of Automic Software; and Terim Ltd and O1 Group Ltd, Cyprus on the sale of a controlling 26 % participation in Vienna Stock Exchange listed CA Immo AG, to listed Immofinanz AG.

After studying law at the University of Vienna and obtaining an LL.M. degree from Georgetown University Law Center (Washington D.C. / USA), Maximilian Lang worked in the m&a department of another Austrian corporate law firm. Maximilian Lang joined Schoenherr in 2013 and was admitted to the bar in 2014. Maximilian is part of the market leading corporate/m&a practice group at Schoenherr; his practice includes advising Aus-trian and international clients on corporate and transactional matters, both domestic and cross border.
