Conference for the BVB Corporate Governance Code and EBRD Transition Report 2024-25

The "Corporate governance and industrial policy for Romania's next stage of development" conference, organised by the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB), the National Bank of Romania (NBR) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), will take place on 5 February 2025 in Bucharest. The event will address the BVB Corporate Governance Code (CGC) and EBRD Transition Report 2024-25.

Schoenherr partner Narcisa Oprea has been invited to moderate a panel entitled "Perspectives on the New CGC". Together with her co-panellists – representatives of BVB, industry associations, companies and authorities – she will discuss how the CGC can contribute to robust corporate governance, the role of investors in implementing CGC principles, and the challenges and opportunities associated with adopting the CGC in Romania.
