Schoenherr advised PAN-PEK d.o.o., one of Croatia's leading baked goods producers, on securing a EUR 20m long-term loan granted by Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. (PBZ), part of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group, in cooperation with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), under a recently signed Risk Sharing Framework (RSF).
The RSF is aimed at increasing support for the national economy through risk sharing between commercial banks and the EBRD and is primarily oriented towards domestic corporate enterprises.
With over 32 years in the industry, PAN-PEK operates a wide range of retail locations across Croatia, supplying fresh and frozen baked goods to retail and wholesale clients, including supermarkets, foodservice chains and institutions.
Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. (PBZ), one of Croatia's largest financial institutions, offers a comprehensive suite of services spanning corporate and retail banking. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) supports economic growth and private sector development in Central and Eastern Europe.
The team was led by Krešimira Krušlin (attorney at law) and further included Lea Mužić (attorney at law) and Dino Rakić (associate).
