We are delighted to invite you to the Polish edition of the renowned Marianne initiative, established in Schoenherr's Austrian office.
Continuing this tradition, we are excited to introduce Helena, named in honour of Helena Wiewiórska, the first Polish woman to be admitted to the bar. This edition aims to empower and connect women by highlighting stories of resilience, success and leadership.
About Marianne
First launched in 2022 in Vienna by partner Miriam Simsa and partner & COO Gudrun Stangl, the Marianne initiative was named after Marianne Beth, the first woman to complete a law degree in Austria and the first female lawyer admitted to the bar. The series has since gone international, honouring trailblazing women across various regions. In 2024, the Romanian version, Ella, was launched, named after Ella Negruzzi, the first Romanian woman to practise law.

Polish lawyer, social activist, television personality, and president of the Porozumienie bez barier foundation since 1997. First Lady of the Republic of Poland from 1995 to 2005, wife of the President of the Republic of Poland, Aleksander Kwaśniewski.

Biography
Dagmara Brzezińska, currently Vice President at InPost, has been exploring the intricacies of the logistics industry and its importance for the development of e-commerce in Poland and Europe for over a year. She joined InPost from Allegro, where she held the position of Commercial Category Management Director, successfully developing the commercial department and being responsible for creating the offer on the Allegro.pl platform. She also co-created technological solutions on the consumer's purchasing path as the Head of Consumer Business Unit. Previously, she worked as the Country Manager for Poland, creating the cosmetics platform iperfumy.pl, now known as notino.pl, where she transitioned from Unilever. At Unilever, she served as the Marketing Director of the cosmetics division and was part of the operational board for Unilever in Poland and the Baltics. Before that, she spent six years at L’Oréal in Poland and Denmark, progressing through both sales and marketing paths for mass brands (Maybelline New York and Garnier) and professional brands (L’Oréal Professionel and Kérastase).
An unwavering advocate for diversity and inclusion in business, Dagmara Brzezińska holds a degree in Finance and Banking from SGH, is a graduate of The Chartered Institute of Marketing in London (CIM) and has completed postgraduate studies in Digital Business at the Emeritus Institute for Columbia Business School & MIT.
Together with her friend Barbara Mierzińska, she hosts the podcast "Moja Droga" for Vogue Poland, where they explore ways for professional and personal development. In her free time, Dagmara is an avid reader, enjoys sports and is learning to fly a plane.
