Hungary: Schoenherr advises UniCredit Bank on D&B refurbishment of Hungarian headquarters
Schoenherr advised UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt. on the contract negotiation of the Design and Build project for the complete refurbishment of their country headquarters in Budapest. Part of the headquarters building was constructed in the 1930s and is partially protected as a historic monument.
Following the upgrade, the eight-storey office building will have a usable floor area of over 14,000 sqm. The bank awarded the design and construction works to FITOUT Zrt following a tender. Upon completion of the project in early 2027, the building will feature a primarily open-office layout with ergonomic furniture, enabled by a desk-sharing concept. Separate focus and meeting rooms will support both collaboration and individual work, complemented by spacious community areas and added wellbeing functionalities.
