Montenegro: Schoenherr advises Montenegro Chamber of Commerce on its first digitalisation project

The firm provided comprehensive legal guidance, including the successful execution of a landmark agreement on provision of services on 11 December 2023, following a competitive public procurement tender. This agreement solidified a strategic partnership between the Chamber of Commerce and a consortium comprised of Axians Crna Gora, Crnogorski Telekom, Montex Elektronika, Čikom and WinSoft.

The primary objective of the project is to digitally transform the Chamber of Commerce's internal systems and operations. Encompassing a wide spectrum of services, the project will enable all business entities in Montenegro to access and obtain official documents from various state authorities online, facilitate electronic payments and document execution, and provide online participation in events, seminars and various educational initiatives, among other offerings.

The Montenegro Chamber of Commerce is a local organisation of businesses and companies in Podgorica whose mission is to develop and further the interests of local companies and businesses in Montenegro.
