13 March | Budapest, Hungary
In Europe, women earn an average of 12.7 % less per hour than men. In Hungary, the wage gap is even larger, at 17.3 %, based on Eurostat data. Directive 2023/970/EU of the European Union, colloquially referred to as the Gender Pay Gap, aims to eliminate this unequal situation.
The directive will fundamentally change the image of the labor market. According to the directive, among other things, the salary difference between workers in the same position cannot be more than 5 %, job advertisements must display the salary or salary range for the position, and companies must also count on a new reporting obligation. The preparation time is short: in 2026, companies with more than 150 employees must submit a report. The joint event of the IVSZ - Association of Digital Enterprises and the IFUA Horváth & Partners Kft., to which you are cordially invited, would like to help with this.
At the event, partner Dániel Gera will be taking part in a panel titled "Gender Pay Gap compliance in practice - legal and HR aspects (round table discussion)" and share his insights among other experts, practising consultants, HR and legal managers.
