Poland/Hungary: Schoenherr advises BGK on EUR 40m financing of first Puro Hotel outside Poland

The firm provided cross-border legal advice in this financing, which will enable the Puro brand's first venture outside of Poland, with the hotel slated to open in mid-2026.

BGK is Poland's sole development bank, dedicated to supporting the country's sustainable social and economic development. One of its tasks is to finance exports and the foreign expansion of Polish companies.

The Schoenherr team advising BGK was co-led by Ilona Fedurek (partner) and Piotr Bartoś (senior attorney at law) and further included Aleksandra Kulik (attorney at law), Gabriela Chrzanowska (associate) and Filip Grabowski (associate).
