Poland: Schoenherr advises Apera Asset Management on the refinancing of Meyra Group
Schoenherr acted as Polish local counsel to Apera Asset Management on the refinancing of Meyra Group GmbH, a portfolio company of H.I.G. Capital.
The financing consisted of a Unitranche loan from Apera Asset Management alongside mBank S.A.'s super senior facilities (term loan and revolving credit facility).
Meyra Group is a leading international manufacturer of mobility and rehabilitation aids, designing and producing high-quality wheelchairs and other medical mobility devices. The group operates manufacturing and distribution businesses across Germany, Poland, China, Denmark and Norway.
The transaction was arranged by Apera Asset Management, with GLAS acting as the Agent.
The Schoenherr team was led by Weronika Kapica (Partner) and included Aleksandra Goławska (Attorney at Law).
