Schoenherr advised Electrum Concreo, a company focused on strategic renewable energy projects, in securing financing of up to PLN 400m with several banks through bilateral multi-product lines and a refinancing facility.
The firm supported Electrum Concreo in negotiating and preparing the financing documentation. The transaction, which is a significant milestone for the development of renewable energy projects in Poland and internationally, involved several banks: PKO Bank Polski, mBank, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, Credit Agricole Bank Polska and Santander Bank Polska.
Owned by Electrum Holding, Electrum Concreo implements strategic projects in the area of renewable energy sources. The portfolio of projects completed so far includes, among others, the largest wind farm in Poland, large-scale photovoltaic projects and one of the largest renewable energy parks in Central and Eastern Europe and thus the first large-scale power plant combining solar and wind energy in Poland.
