Poland: Schoenherr advises mBank on financing for NU-MED
Schoenherr advised mBank on providing a new financing package for NU-MED, a leading oncology services provider in Poland and part of the Affidea Group. The financing will be used to refinance existing debt and support the further development of NU-MED's oncology centres.
Affidea Group is a leading pan-European healthcare group, specialised in the provision of advanced diagnostic services, outpatient specialists, laboratory tests, physiotherapy and rehabilitation as well as cancer diagnosis and treatment. It operates in 15 European countries, with more than 362 centres.
Following its integration into Affidea, NU-MED will operate as part of one of the largest pan-European healthcare providers, with a strong focus on oncology, diagnostic imaging and specialist outpatient services.
The Schoenherr team advising on the transaction included Ilona Fedurek (partner), Piotr Bartoś (senior attorney at law) and Gabriela Chrzanowska (associate).
