Preparing a company for listing

On 17 September 2024 Schoenherr Romania's capital markets team is hosting a business breakfast focused on ways to prepare a company for listing on the stock exchange.

Tailored for private equity funds interested in exiting a portfolio company through an initial public offering (IPO), this event is organised together with the Romanian Private Equity and Venture Capital industry association (ROPEA) and its members. It will address requirements for listing, timeline of the listing process, costs and tasks allocation, and price discovery mechanics. The event will also focus on the role played in the listing process by the private equity fund exiting through an IPO, including prospectus specifics.

With over 25 years of experience in advising on successful as well as attempted IPOs, Narcisa Oprea will lead the discussions, guiding participants through the essentials of an IPO and preparing them on what they should expect from this process.
