Romania: Schoenherr advises Dentas Kağıt Sanayi on sale of Romanian subsidiary to Hartmann Packaging

Schoenherr's services covered sell-side legal advice in connection with this deal, including assistance with transaction structuring and negotiation, drafting and reviewing the transaction documents, and advising on a land carve-out as part of the deal. The transaction was signed in April 2025 in Bucharest and will be closed after regulatory approvals are obtained.

Dentas Kağıt Sanayi is a major manufacturer of moulded fibre products and supplier of egg packaging in Türkiye, Romania and Bulgaria. The group entered the Romanian market in 2003 and opened its first moulded fibre packaging production facility in 2006.

Founded in 1917 in Denmark, Hartmann is the world's leading manufacturer of moulded fibre egg packaging, a top producer of fruit packaging in South America, and a prominent manufacturer of machinery for moulded fibre packaging production.
