Schoenherr named "Austria's m&a law firm of the year" by Chambers and Partners

Roman Perner (partner) and Manuel Ritt-Huemer (attorney-at-law) accepted the award at the Chambers Austria Awards 2019 event held on 21 March in Vienna.

Recent headline transactions included Schoenherr advising Starwood Capital on the acquisition of a core shareholding in CA Immo (EUR 757.9m), BUWOG on the public takeover bid of Vonovia (EUR 3.4bln) and Advent on the acquisition of GE Jenbacher from General Electric (deal value of overall transaction EUR 2.8bln).

Schoenherr leads the Mergermarket league tables 2018 for Austria and was also awarded "Austrian M&A Legal Adviser of the Year" in December 2018 by Mergermarket.
