Schoenherr strengthens its teams with the promotions of Gudrun Stangl to equity partner, as well as Arabella Eichinger to contract partner as of 1 February.
In addition, Schoenherr promotes Stefanie Aichhorn-Wöss, Marcin Antczak, Ayla Ilicali, and Veronika Wolfbauer to counsel.

Gudrun Stangl is an equity partner and COO of Schoenherr. As a member of the firm's Steering Committee, Gudrun's strategic expertise and management skills ensure, amongst other things, operational excellence and the drive for innovation, change and efficiency within the firm. Prior to her assignment as COO, Gudrun was managing partner of Schoenherr’s Bratislava office for three years and has more than 13 years of experience as an m&a transaction lawyer.

Arabella Eichinger is a contract partner in Schoenherr's real estate team. She is a well-respected real estate and construction law expert and specialises in advising on national and international real estate projects and transactions, with a focus on the residential and hotel sector. Her real estate experience in both Austria and Central and Eastern Europe is comprehensive and longstanding.
Stefanie Aichhorn-Wöss is counsel at Schoenherr, where she works in the corporate/m&a practice group. Stefanie joined Schoenherr in 2011. She also holds a degree in international business administration and specialises in corporate and reorganisation transactions.
Marcin Antczak is counsel at Schoenherr Poland, where he specialises in banking & finance. Marcin has been with Schoenherr since 2013 and has participated in several domestic and cross-border loan transactions, bond offerings, and regulatory projects involving licensing of financial institutions.
Ayla Ilicali is counsel at Schoenherr, where she specialises in real estate and corporate real estate law. Ayla has been with Schoenherr since 2009 and also advises real estate investment funds and clients on asset management matters. Prior to joining Schoenherr and after earning a Masters in Law from Georgetown University in Washington D.C., she joined the real estate and capital markets group of a renowned US law firm in New York.
Veronika Wolfbauer is counsel at Schoenherr, where she works in its regulatory practice group with a special focus on technology regulation. Prior to joining Schoenherr, Veronika gained experience at well-known international law firms in Vienna and worked as legal counsel at a gas trading hub.
