Austria/CEE: Schoenherr sharpens focus on technology & digitalisation matters

Thomas Kulnigg, corporate/m&a partner, will head up the group of numerous experts from all legal areas and offices. Kulnigg also heads up the start-up and venture capital service at Schoenherr, is founding member of the European Blockchain Think Tank "ThinkBLOCKTank" and jury member of the Legal Tech Hub Vienna.
 
The group's focus will be advising clients comprehensively on complex legal questions in technology & digitalisation-driven matters, by implementing a one-stop shop across CEE and by deploying lawyers that have an affinity for technology.

Schoenherr has an excellent track record and expertise in technology & digitalisation matters. Recent mandates include advising Playtika on the purchase of Austrian games developer Supertreat, CONDA on its digitalisation of shares via blockchain and major streaming service providers on (planned) market entries into Austria. Schoenherr also represented the IT industry in landmark copyright levies test cases against the Austrian Collecting Societies.
