Austria: Schoenherr advises shareholders on sale of techbold to accompio

The Schoenherr team provided comprehensive sell-side legal advice on all M&A aspects of the transaction. The agreements were signed on 30 July 2026, with closing of the transaction remaining subject to merger control clearance in Austria.

Founded by Damian Izdebski in 2015, techbold has grown into one of Austria's foremost IT service providers for small and medium-sized enterprises, with an ownership base of more than 250 shareholders – including participants from a crowdfunding campaign as well as employees, customers and suppliers of the company. With approximately 170 IT specialists across locations in Vienna, Upper Austria and Burgenland, the company serves around 1,400 clients from 60 industries. techbold operates its own Cyber Security Operations Centre, offering end-to-end IT support and cybersecurity expertise. The company holds ISO 27001:2022, ISO 9001:2015 and Cyber Trust Austria Silver Label certifications.
