Czech Republic: Schoenherr advises Ventus LLC and Sky Logistica Pte. Ltd. on acquisition of Skyport a.s.

Schoenherr advised Ventus LLC and Sky Logistica Pte. Ltd. on the acquisition of Skyport a.s., a cargo operator based in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, from the CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP.

"We were delighted to assist Ventus and Sky Logistica Pte. with the transaction," partner Vladimír Čížek said after the signing. "Managing transaction was demanding but proved our ability to act efficiently on comprehensive transactions with multiple levels."

Ventus LLC is a private equity company operating in Atlanta, USA managed by Andy Popovich, that focuses on investments to airport infrastructure.

CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP a.s., founded in 2014, is a holding company covering an industrial and technological group of companies operating in aerospace, the railway industry, automotive, production of special vehicles and precision engineering. The sales of the consolidated group companies in 2019 amounted to CZK 11.839bln (approx. EUR 461m).

Schoenherr's M&A team in Prague provided comprehensive transactional advice to Ventus, including due diligence, transaction structuring and transaction documentation drafting and negotiation. The team also assisted Ventus with Czech Aviation Authority regulatory matters.
