Anna Turi and Dániel Gera, two of Schoenherr Hungary's most experienced legal experts, have been promoted to counsel.
An experienced competition lawyer, Anna Turi has been instrumental in building Schoenherr's competition practice in Budapest. Her colleague and labour & employment expert Dániel Gera has vast experience in employment law and litigation as well as data protection.

Joining Schoenherr when the Budapest office was established in 2008, Anna Turi has played a key role in shaping its competition practice. She has led major cases acting for clients in the automotive, air transport, construction, financial, food, consulting, IT/communication/technology, and manufacturing sectors. Anna represents clients in cartel proceedings (including leniency applicants), merger control proceedings, and unfair competition proceedings before the Hungarian Competition Authority and before the courts. She is also involved in the private enforcement of competition law and provides ongoing competition law advice to clients, regularly holding competition, anti-corruption compliance, and dawn raid training. Anna graduated from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest in 2005. She then earned an LL.M. degree at the University of Regensburg and a specialised degree in competition law at the Pázmány Péter Catholic University, Deák Ferenc School of Postgraduate Studies.
Dániel Gera has nearly 15 years of experience advising international and domestic clients in the fields of employment law, corporate law, M&A transactions and data protection. He advises clients on a wide range of employment matters, such as compensation packages, the employment of foreign nationals, employer policies, as well as strategic HR matters, such as the transfer of employees, reorganisations, in- and outsourcing, negotiations with works councils and trade unions, and employment litigation, including cases related to compliance and white-collar crime. He regularly advises clients regarding the data protection aspects of handling HR-related data, and has published several articles on recent developments in Hungarian employment law, such as HR data transfers, electronic documents, and digitalisation. Dániel is a law graduate of Eötvös Loránd University (Dr. iur. 2004).
