Poland: Schoenherr advises Aviva Investors on acquisition of majority stake in Connected Infrastructure Capital GmbH

Schoenherr provided legal advice on all Polish aspects of the transaction, including regulatory compliance.

Aviva Investors' investment will accelerate CIC's growth trajectory, expand its project pipeline and support ongoing development activities, strengthening its role in the transition to clean energy.

Connected Infrastructure Capital GmbH is a renewable energy company engaged in the origination, acquisition, development and operation of wind energy projects. With a focus on Poland and Sweden, CIC has built a substantial portfolio and currently operates 100 MW of wind parks across Central and Northern Europe.

Aviva Investors operates in 14 countries, managing GBP 234bln in assets as of 30 June 2024. The firm focuses on high-impact, scalable renewable energy investments that drive sustainable energy solutions.
