Poland: Schoenherr advises Enterprise Investors on acquisition of minority stake in eTravel
Schoenherr advised Enterprise Investors Fund IX on the acquisition of a significant minority stake in eTravel S.A., with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) as a minority co-investor. The transaction represents a strategic investment aimed at strengthening eTravel's market-leading position and expanding its technological capabilities.
Founded in 2006, eTravel is one of the leading corporate travel management companies in Central and Eastern Europe. The company provides innovative solutions for streamlining bookings, cost optimisation, and seamless integration with corporate travel and accounting systems. In 2023 alone, eTravel facilitated nearly one million bookings for corporate clients and governmental institutions.
The investment will support eTravel's long-term growth strategy, particularly in advancing its IT platform and integrating AI-driven solutions to boost efficiency and improve the customer experience. Additionally, the funding will enable the company to expand selectively into high-potential markets across Central and Eastern Europe.
