Slovenia: Schoenherr advises Enterprise Investors on sale of INTERSPORT ISI
Schoenherr advised Enterprise Investors on the sale of INTERSPORT ISI, a leading sporting goods retailer headquartered in Slovenia and operating throughout the Adriatic region. The company will be acquired by INTERSPORT Austria, the Austrian branch of INTERSPORT Group, an international sporting goods network founded in Switzerland.

Schoenherr provided comprehensive sell-side corporate/M&A advice in connection with this transaction, which was signed in Ljubljana on 15 January 2026 and is subject to regulatory approvals.
The acquisition advances INTERSPORT Austria's strategy to expand across Central and Southeastern Europe, adding strong omnichannel capabilities, a well-established retail network and a loyal customer base.
Enterprise Investors is one of the largest private equity players in Central Eastern Europe. Active since 1990, the firm has raised ten funds, which have invested and committed EUR 2.4bln in 161 companies and exited 142 companies.
The Schoenherr team advising on the transaction was led by Bojan Brežan (Partner) and further included Luka Lopičić (Partner) and Hana Jerak (Associate).
