Austria: Schoenherr advises Trelleborg on acquisition of Nexus Elastomer Molds GmbH

Schoenherr provided comprehensive legal support to Trelleborg throughout the acquisition, including due diligence aspects. The deal was consolidated as of 7 January 2026.

Nexus Elastomer Molds GmbH is based in Eberstalzell, Austria, and provides customised tooling solutions and automated manufacturing cells, with a particular focus on liquid silicone rubber applications. Trelleborg has previously partnered with Nexus in both development and production, with the acquisition deepening this long-standing cooperation. 

Trelleborg is a world leader in engineered polymer solutions, leveraging in-depth materials and application expertise to serve customers across a wide range of industries. With operations in around 40 countries, the group offers a broad portfolio of high-performance solutions and reported annual sales of approximately SEK 34bln in 2024.
